Pat Washington, RN, PhD, OCN

Pat Washington, RN, PhD, OCN, has been an oncology nurse for over 35 years. Dr. Pat serves as the Gulf Coast Clinical Nurse Educator for Puma Biotechnology. Prior to joining Puma Biotechnology, she served as an executive area business specialist at Janssen Biotech. She served 10 years as a senior Avastin oncology clinical coordinator and senior Tecentriq clinical specialist at Genentech. Dr. Pat spent 6 years with Amgen as a senior hospital clinical specialist.

Other roles include adjunct faculty at the University of Texas Houston Health Science Center School of Nursing, research assistant at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Department of Symptom Management Research and the University of Texas Center on Aging, and clinical research coordinator for Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Pat’s nursing experience started at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center as well as Louisiana State University Medical Center and the Department of Veteran’s Affairs.
