Robin Bender Stevens is vice chair of the Living Beyond Breast Cancer board. She joined the LBBC board in 2004, was elected board secretary in 2007 and vice chair in 2010. A friend of several women affected by breast cancer, she joined LBBC in part because she appreciated the focus on underserved women, and she saw potential in LBBC's ability to grow nationally and internationally.

Ms. Stevens received a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania and a master's in public policy analysis from the university's Wharton School. She is executive director of medical strategies and physician education at Merck, where she has worked for nearly 20 years. Her department oversees relationships with clinical, scientific and policy thought-leaders who serve as advisors or speakers for Merck's portfolio of vaccines. Prior to her position at Merck, she worked as a health policy analyst and in health planning. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two teenage sons, music, outdoor activities, reading and crossword puzzles.
