Saranya Chumsri, MD

Saranya Chumsri, MD, is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology, with a clinical specialty in treating breast cancer. 

Dr. Chumsri works with scientists at the University of Maryland to translate their research findings into clinical trials. Her own research focuses on cancer-specific targets for treating and preventing breast cancer, and identifying biomarkers that predict what cancers may respond best to certain targeted therapies.
