Shara Sosa, MSW, LCSW

Shara B. Sosa, MSW, LCSW, has worked at Inova Life with Cancer, a community organization offering free support and education to anyone affected by cancer, for over 20 years. She is a clinical oncology therapist offering supportive individual, couples, and family counseling, crises intervention, group facilitation, and psychosocial education. Her primary areas of focus include survivorship, sexuality and intimacy, resilience, living with advanced disease and bereavement, as well as young adults and women living with breast cancer. Ms. Sosa has contributed to a book about teens and cancer, and been cited in national publications including the Washington Post. She enjoys providing community education, conducting workshops, and doing local and national presentations.
