Susan Minton, DO, is associate professor in the department Women’s Oncology at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa, Florida. She has been a breast oncologist in the Don and Erika Wallace Comprehensive Breast Program for the last 12 years and is chair of the breast oncology research meeting at Moffitt Cancer Center. In addition, she has been principal investigator of several pharmaceutical industry and investigator- initiated trials. Dr. Minton focuses on translational clinical research trials in breast cancer. She is part of a translational research group at the Moffitt Cancer Center and has strong interests in developing translational clinical trials for high-risk breast cancer. She is principal investigator of several phase I and II clinical trials involving targeted therapies.
