Volunteer
Living Beyond Breast Cancer depends on our volunteers to help us fulfill our mission of empowering all women affected by breast cancer to live as long as possible with the best quality of life. With generous donations of time. energy and talent, volunteers partner with our staff to support our programs, plan and prepare for events and offer support and education to thousands of women affected by breast cancer throughout the United States, Canada and beyond. We invite you to become a part of the LBBC family and volunteer your time with us. Sign up online or contact Ashley Burczak ( aburczak@lbbc.org) Lynn Folkman ( lfolkman@lbbc.org) or (610) 645-4567. Special opportunity available for volunteers with previous Helpline or peer support training
LBBC is now seeking volunteers with previous Helpline training to provide peer support to women affected by breast cancer on our Survivors’ Helpline. The Helpline is answered live by trained volunteers who are a minimum of one year beyond active treatment or who are living with metastatic breast cancer. The hours of the Helpline are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET. If you can serve during these live hours and have previously been trained to provide peer support with a breast cancer program or Helpline, we want to hear from you! To get involved and learn more today, contact Ashley Burczak ( aburczak@lbbc.org) or Lynn Folkman ( lfolkman@lbbc.org).
