Living Beyond Breast Cancer depends on our volunteers to help us fulfill our mission of connecting people with trusted breast cancer information and a community of support. With generous donations of time, energy and talent, volunteers partner with our staff to support our programs, plan and prepare for events and offer support and education to thousands of women affected by breast cancer throughout the United States, Canada and beyond.
Interested in volunteering on the Breast Cancer Helpline? LBBC will begin recruiting and interviewing in January 2014. The training will be held in April 2014 in the Philadelphia area.
The Helpline is answered live by trained volunteers who are a minimum of one year beyond active treatment or who are living with metastatic breast cancer. The hours of the Helpline are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET.
If you would like additional information about how to apply, please contact Lynn Folkman at firstname.lastname@example.org.
