With a background in journalism and strategic communications, Adrienne approaches digital content with a spirit of curiosity and collaboration. As director of digital content at LBBC, she looks for authentic and relatable ways to share the experiences of people with breast cancer and those who care for them.
Prior to joining LBBC, Adrienne was director of communications for mission delivery at Autism Speaks, serving as the content hub for the science, services and supports, and advocacy teams. She has led strategic communications and publications in a range of nonprofit and higher education settings over the last 20 years. Adrienne holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in journalism, both from the University of Maryland, College Park. A native of the Annapolis area, she lives in New Hope, Pennsylvania, with her husband, two children, and their dog.
When she's not working, Adrienne can usually be found at the gym, taking long walks along the Delaware River, swimming, gardening, spending time with friends and family, or reading a cookbook.
The breast cancer journey is transformative in so many ways, and the unexpected highlight for me professionally and personally is the people you meet along the way who help shape your perspective. Sharing stories of people touched by breast cancer weaves a bond of resilience, power, and connection in our community.
