Carlea’s main areas of interest are sharing her lived experience through storytelling, moderating webinars and educational programs, and representing LBBC at events. Carlea works in client onboarding at a tech company and lives in Austin, TX with her husband, cat, and dog. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, reading, trying new restaurants, and going to live music events.
Through storytelling, I want to spread awareness, empower others to listen to their bodies, and advocate for early detection. It is my mission to help others facing a breast cancer diagnosis at a young age feel less alone. I couldn't have gotten through my journey without the women who walked this path before me, and it is my duty to help the women who will follow me.
