- 2026 Young Advocate
Asisa’s main areas of interest include representing LBBC at events, fundraising for LBBC, and moderating LBBC webinars and educational programs.
Asisa is an educator with more than 16 years of experience and a doctoral student in clinical psychology. Her work focuses on mental health, advocacy, and supporting children and families affected by serious illness. Having been treated for breast cancer, Asisa is passionate about community engagement, storytelling, and health equity. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, spending time with her daughter, serving in her faith community, and creating meaningful connections through advocacy and service.
My hope my work with Living Beyond Breast Cancer helps people and families affected by breast cancer feel seen, supported, and empowered. I want them to know they are not alone and that healing can include finding hope, connection, and strength along the way.
