Megan's primary advocacy interest involves working with politicians to pass legislation that better supports cancer patients and promotes greater equity in healthcare spaces and systems.
She also believes in the power of storytelling and shares her story as a two-time adolescent and young adult (AYA) breast cancer survivor to motivate young individuals to recognize the symptoms of breast cancer and advocate for diagnostic testing.
She enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, crafting, and traveling. However, her greatest joy comes from mornings spent in bed drinking coffee with her husband and dog.
I hope to make a positive impact for anyone diagnosed after me so that their journey can be easier than mine, with less roadblocks and more support.
