Anna Mazor, MD is a board-certified general surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons who has a true passion for caring for individuals with benign and malignant diseases of the breast.
A dedicated breast surgeon, Dr. Mazor received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA, and obtained a degree in osteopathic medicine. She completed her residency in general surgery at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) and then completed a fellowship in breast surgical oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Dr. Mazor’s professional memberships include the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, the American Society of Breast Surgeons, and the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Mazor felt her mother’s breast cancer diagnosis solidified her interest in a career in breast surgery. “I believe in patient empowerment through knowledge of their disease and a holistic approach to breast cancer care. In treatment, we do not just focus on the disease but take into account the whole patient and include the patient in the decision-making process. I chose to practice at Comprehensive Breast Care Surgeons and Holy Redeemer because their philosophy aligns with my belief in a holistic approach to patient care.”
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Mazor enjoys a vibrant lifestyle that includes Pilates and outdoor activities. She loves to travel, experience fine dining, and relax at the beach. Most importantly, she cherishes the time spent with her two sons, finding joy in both adventure and quality family moments.
