Amanda Celeste is a former elementary teacher turned speech-language pathologist. She and her husband, Tony, have three tenacious children and two fur babies.
In December 2014, Amanda was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer (ER/PR-positive, HER2-negative). In 2018, she experienced a recurrence, finding the cancer had returned and metastasized to her bones. Since her diagnosis of stage IV breast cancer, Amanda has made it her mission to educate others and advocate for people impacted by this disease.
Amanda is a former LBBC Young Advocate. She is featured in LBBC's Can and Did podcast series and serves as a patient/parent collaborator with Gilead Sciences' book "The Adventure Jar." She is also the former parent coordinator for Project Life and the CEO and founder of Metastatica. Amanda has shared her voice as both a panelist and moderator within the MBC community on multiple projects.
