Highlights
Ebony-Joy Igbinoba has dedicated her career to education and global justice. She currently focuses on diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion efforts, finding value in storytelling and amplifying marginalized voices. She has a strong interest in supporting cancer thrivers and people with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
Ebony-Joy serves as a breast cancer ambassador and sits on research advisory boards to help raise awareness and improve outcomes for young cancer thrivers. She recently traveled to Washington, D.C., to advocate for federal policies that support people impacted by breast cancer.
A mother of two children and a toy poodle, Ebony-Joy enjoys cheering for her kids at sporting events, traveling, reading, volunteering, mentoring through her church, and spending time with loved ones. Her faith in God and His Grace inspires her to serve others and be a champion for equity and human rights.
My goal is to advocate for other marginalized women in the breast cancer community. I would like women of color to have access to quality treatment and care. I hope my work will impact breast cancer warriors and their families so that they have comprehensive support on their journeys.
