Eucharia Borden, MSW, LCSW, OSW-C, FAOSW, is vice president of programs and health equity at Family Reach, a national organization dedicated to removing the financial barriers that accompany a cancer diagnosis. She oversees a cross-functional division responsible for the strategic evolution of the Financial Resource Center, advancing equitable, high-impact support for families navigating cancer.
In her role, Eucharia integrates program strategy, research, evaluation, and mission-driven partnerships to expand access, strengthen outcomes, and ensure long-term sustainability. She leads a multidisciplinary team focused on developing innovative, patient-centered interventions using evidence-based insights to drive continuous improvement. As a senior leader, she collaborates across operations, fundraising, and strategic planning to align organizational priorities and amplify Family Reach’s impact in financial equity and supportive cancer care.
With nearly 20 years of experience in oncology, Eucharia has worked extensively in patient advocacy and direct social work practice in both acute inpatient and outpatient settings. She is a past president of the Association of Oncology Social Work (AOSW), a recognized AOSW Fellow, and the 2023 recipient of the AOSW Leadership in Oncology Social Work Award. Through her leadership and advocacy, she remains committed to strengthening the delivery of equitable, evidence-driven supportive services across the cancer continuum.
