At age 36, during the pandemic, Michelle was diagnosed with Stage I triple-negative breast cancer. Unfortunately, her cancer returned in 2022 at age 38, now at Stage IV. Inspired to turn her pain into purpose, she launched The Fearless Warrior Project/Organization in 2021.

As a certified mental health coach and death doula, Michelle's mission is to help individuals address and overcome emotional and mental traumas while embracing their fears. She empowers others to advocate for themselves and educates cancer warriors about their rights, clinical trial options, and resources.

Michelle is a voice for the voiceless, and her biggest motivation is creating a legacy for her children. She is often referred to as "Superwoman with a Pink Cape."
