Connect with others

Connecting with other people with similar experiences can provide emotional benefits. Finding ways to support your emotional health is just as important as getting the right cancer treatment. There are several ways to connect with other conference attendees during the live conference weekend.

New! Video enabled meet-ups

We kick the conference weekend off with the opportunity to meet other conference attendees face-to-face! Tune into our new video enabled, group meet-ups on Saturday morning from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. to connect with others, share stories, and give and receive support. These sessions will be facilitated by our volunteer moderators.

These large-group discussions will be hosted via Zoom within our conference platform. No extra registration or link required. Turning on your video and microphone are encouraged, but not required to participate. The meet-up sessions are scheduled for one hour, but you can move around to other groups if you like. Click here for video meet-up instructions and tips.

Exhibit hall

Exhibitors will be available for one-on-one chats during live exhibit hall hours. Use the chat function in each exhibit booth to talk one-on-one with exhibit booth representatives who are standing by to answer your questions. One-on-one chats with exhibitors are available as a text-based chat, video chat, or audio chat. Click here for tips on connecting with exhibitors.

Follow the conversation and share your own takeaways and questions by using #LBBCMetsConf on Twitter. We find that many attendees, experts and supporters are active on Twitter during the conference weekend.  And of course, don't forget to tell you're network you're attending @LivingbeyondBC's #MBC conference on April 17 & 18.
