Cynthia Moore, PhD, is the associate director of the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center’s Marjorie E. Korff Parenting At a Challenging Time (PACT) Program, and an assistant professor of psychology at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Moore joined the PACT Program in 2003 and since then, has provided parenting guidance to hundreds of adults with cancer. In 2018 she helped expand the PACT Program to serve parents treated in the MGH Healey Center for ALS. In addition to parent guidance, she provides psychotherapy to children and adults with a particular focus on bereavement and has training in complicated grief therapy. She teaches locally and nationally about how parents and healthcare professionals can support children living with a chronically ill parent, conducts research on the challenges faced by parents who are managing cancer, and supervises psychology trainees.
