Nancy is a retired clinical social worker practitioner and social work professor of clinical practice. She worked at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, where she started SoulMates, a rigorous in-person peer mentoring program for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients. She has been a breast cancer research advocate at DFCi since 2014. She is a competitive ballroom dancer and avid reader. She and her husband have 3 adult children and 8 grandchildren. Half of their time is spent living on their boat.
