Meghan O’Regan Coleman, DNP, RN, CRNP-BC, AOCNP, ACHPN, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Villanova University in 1993. After working in home care, she completed a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in adult oncology nurse practice, at the University of Pennsylvania in 1999. She later returned to Villanova to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2013.
Her decision to pursue oncology nursing was inspired by the loss of her father to cancer when she was 17. This experience deepened her dedication to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to adults living with cancer.
At the Asplundh Cancer Pavillion, Dr. Coleman approaches each day with the commitment to provide all cancer patient’s a personalized plan of care with a foundation in evidence-based knowledge. She gains inspiration working with fellow leaders in the oncology community. Working as an oncology nurse practitioner she strives to provide care infused with passion, innovation, and commitment across all aspects of the cancer care trajectory.
Her professional excellence has been recognized with several honors, including the Champion of Palliative Care Award and the Operational Award for Quality and Patient Safety (University of Pennsylvania, 2015), the Jefferson Health Advanced Practice Provider Excellence in Clinical Practice Award (2021), and the Association of Physician and Provider Oncology Specialists (APPOS) MVP of the Year Award (2025).
Active in professional and community service, Dr. Coleman lives in Maple Glen, PA, with her husband, Don, and son, Liam.
