Kristin Campbell, BSc, PT, PhD, FACSM is a licensed physical therapist and a professor in the department of physical therapy at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She is also an affiliated scientist in the Cancer Control Research program at the BC Cancer Research Institute.
Kristin's research focus is on the role of exercise in cancer rehabilitation and survivorship has been funded by the Canadian Cancer Society Research Institute, Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research, the Physiotherapy Foundation of Canada, and others. She has published over 150 peer-reviewed papers, and she was the co-lead of the 2019 exercise guidelines for cancer survivors from the American College of Sports Medicine. In 2020, she received a Distinguished Achievement Award for Overall Excellence Mid-Career from the Faculty of Medicine at UBC and a Visiting Scholar Award from the American College of Sports Medicine in 2022.
She is a member of the oncology division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and a fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine. She is also an associate editor for the Translational Journal of the American College of Sports Medicine (TJACSM).
