Melissa received her bachelor’s degree in print communications from Arcadia University, where she also spent 2 and a half years working in the school’s Community and Civic Engagement Center coordinating student volunteer opportunities.
After a college internship at United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, Melissa moved into the role of Engagement Coordinator and acted as the liaison between corporate volunteers and nonprofit organizations.
Melissa previously worked for 6 and a half years in the film industry as Communications Manager at Expressway Cinema Rentals, handling marketing and retail operations. With expertise in event coordination as well as relationship and data management, she is looking forward to supporting the Programs Team and coordinating impactful programs for the LBBC community.
It's inspiring to work at an organization so committed to education and the necessity of providing those affected by breast cancer the access to tangible resources and trusted information.
