Your help is needed now, more than ever.
Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s COVID-19 Response efforts address the urgent and increased needs among our national breast cancer community. Join us.
Urgent and increased needs
Many people in active treatment for early-stage or metastatic breast cancer have weakened immune systems because of breast cancer treatments and are worried about their risk for contracting the virus. Additionally, navigating our medical system in a time of COVID-19 has made things even more complicated.
People in treatment already face financial hardships and can find it difficult to pay for basic needs such as food, rent and utilities. The economic impact of COVID-19 has resulted in many households losing income and/or health care insurance, making this situation even harder.
Many are struggling with anxiety from the effects of distancing from other people, which can compound the isolation that can come with a breast cancer diagnosis. Others are coping with increased stress as they are taking care of children and supporting their families through the uncertainties of the pandemic while facing their own breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
We're working around the clock to support our community with peer support and the latest information on COVID-19 and breast cancer. Please help us continue this important work and make a tax-deductible gift today.

More grants for people in need
With the onset of COVID-19, the financial devastation experienced by people with breast cancer has increased significantly. Our LBBC Fund, which provides modest one-time grants to people in active treatment received over 200 applications for assistance within 24 hours. With your help, we can increase the number of grants we offer this year so women can focus on their health, not their bills. Learn more about the Living Beyond Breast Cancer Fund.
