Let's dish about breast cancer
A cooking demo and fundraiser for Living Beyond Breast Cancer, hosted by thriver Abby Match, her mom Carla Sirkis, holistic nutritionist Lainie Kates, and chef Chloe-Charlotte Crampton
Healthy eating influencers dish on breast cancer, healing, and how to build your hive.
Nutritionist Lainie Kates and chef Chloe-Charlotte Crampton, two friends, foodies and social media influencers, will share their bite-size tips to make an anti-inflammatory meal (plus a mocktail and dessert!), how to support a friend in treatment, and how to build resiliency.
100% of the donations from this event will benefit the LBBC Fund, which helps pay basic living expenses for people in treatment for early stage and metastatic breast cancer.
Did you know?
When being treated for breast cancer, every test, doctor visit, hospital stay, and treatment adds up, even if you have good health coverage. Paying for care can cause stress on top of regular expenses like car payments, rent and utility bills, and even child care.
To reduce this stress, Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) has a financial assistance program called the LBBC Fund. It serves those in treatment through one-time grants for basic living expenses (housing, rent, and utilities). People in early-stage breast cancer treatment can apply to receive $1,000 one-time grants; those in treatment for metastatic breast cancer can apply to receive $1,250.
About our hosts

Abby Match and Carla Sirkis
Abby Match is always on the go. A mom, wife, and career speech therapist in early intervention, she finds time for everyone. Her mom, Carla Sirkis is a bright light as well. She lives in Florida with her husband and enjoys meeting new friends and traveling.
Together, Abby and Carla have been through so much. In the fall of 2020, Abby was diagnosed with stage IIB triple-negative breast cancer. Finding herself in a rigorous chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery treatment plan, Abby relied on finding nutritious foods and recipes to feel better.
Carla supported Abby during this change, and together, they continue to help one another be their healthiest selves today. They also rely on building a close-knit community and giving back. It’s their fuel to live healthily, and why they are such amazing volunteers for LBBC.
