From 2012 to 2016, Josh helped shape Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s digital presence as a writer, web content coordinator, and digital media specialist. During that time, they managed the organization’s social media channels, expanded its online audience, and developed resources that continue to support people affected by breast cancer.

Josh co-founded LBBC’s Twitter Chats in 2014, opening space for real-time conversations on topics such as triple-negative breast cancer, financial concerns, intimacy and sexuality, and breast reconstruction. They also authored the first Breast Cancer inFocus brochure, designed to connect LGBTQ+ people affected by breast cancer to affirming tips and resources.

Born and raised in Delaware County, Josh graduated from Temple University with a bachelor’s degree in English and women’s studies. Since then, they have led content strategy and digital messaging at AmeriHealth Caritas, Temple Health, and for the CDC’s Tips From Former Smokers campaign, creating inclusive and results-driven communications that reach diverse audiences nationwide.

Outside of work, Josh is the executive director of Queer Run, a Philadelphia-based LGBTQ+ running community dedicated to advocacy, inclusion, and joyful movement. They also enjoy writing, exploring Philly’s food scene, running marathons, playing Dungeons & Dragons, going to concerts, and watching more TV and film than they’d like to admit.
