Sailaja Kamaraju, MD, is a professor of medicine in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She practices at Moorland Reserve Health Center, where she serves as Medical Director, and the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Clinical Cancer Center Breast Center. Her clinical and research interests include breast cancer treatment, treatment-related side effects, and long-term outcomes among people treated for breast cancer.

Dr. Kamaraju’s breast cancer research includes cardiovascular outcomes associated with hormonal therapy and other issues impacting people affected by breast cancer. She is also involved in community outreach focused on reducing racial, cultural, language, and financial barriers to breast health education, breast cancer screening, and survivorship care.

In 2015, Dr. Kamaraju was awarded the Champions in Women’s Health Award by the Wisconsin Women’s Health Foundation for improving the quality of life for women and their families.
