Weight changes during and after breast cancer treatment can affect physical health, emotional well-being, and quality of life. As interest in GLP-1 medications grows, patients are looking to their healthcare teams for clear, evidence-based guidance about whether and how these medications fit among the full range of weight-management options.
While the live webinar is over, join us through this self-directed continuing education activity for a practical discussion that brings together evolving clinical evidence and the real concerns patients bring to these conversations. We’ll explore the relationship between cancer treatment, weight gain, emotional health, and health-related outcomes; what is known — and still unknown — about GLP-1 use after breast cancer; the role of exercise and other weight-management strategies; and patient-centered communication that supports informed, shared decisions.
