Jennifer Reese, PhD
Associate Professor, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Cancer Prevention and Control Program
Jennifer Barsky Reese, PhD, is an associate professor with tenure in the Cancer Prevention and Control Program at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, PA. She is a behavioral scientist and licensed psychologist with a program of research focused on developing and evaluating interventions to improve care and outcomes related to sexual health, relationship function, and quality of life for cancer survivors. Dr. Reese currently has funding from the National Cancer Institute for her research. She has co-authored 85 journal articles and book chapters, most of which have focused on the topic of sexual health or relationships for people with cancer or chronic health conditions.

Associate Professor of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology, and Director, MUSIC (Menopause, Urogenital, Sexual Health and Intimacy Clinic) Sexual Health After Cancer Program, Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center
Kristin Rojas, MD, FACS, FACOG is an associate professor in the DeWitt Daughtry Department of Surgery at the University of Miami in Florida, and a fellowship-trained breast cancer surgeon. In 2023, she received the NIH/NCI’s Early-Stage Surgeon Scientist Program (ESSP) Award, which supports her research exploring the impact of opioids on the gut microbiome. Dr. Rojas is also the founder and director of the MUSIC Program (Menopause, Urogenital, Sexual Health, and Intimacy Clinic) at the NCI-designated Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, which is dedicated to addressing post-treatment sexual health and intimacy challenges. Her translational survivorship research program through MUSIC supports trials for novel therapeutics for genitourinary syndrome of menopause in female cancer survivors.
Charlotte Safrit
Patient Advocate, Living Beyond Breast Cancer
Charlotte Safrit is a dedicated patient advocate and community health leader committed to improving access to equitable care through lived experience and collaboration. A breast cancer survivor and former caregiver, she uses her voice to center patient experiences, build community, and advocate for policy change that reflects the realities of those most impacted. She recently completed the Community Health Worker program at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, and received science-based advocacy training from the National Breast Cancer Coalition’s Project LEAD Institute. Charlotte was selected as a 2024 Young Advocate for Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) and currently serves on Patient and Family Advisory Councils (PFACs) for both Penn Medicine and Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN).

Eleonora Teplinsky, MD is a board-certified medical oncologist specializing in breast and gynecologic oncology. She is the head of breast and gynecological medical oncology at Valley-Mount Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Care in Paramus, New Jersey, and a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. Her clinical and research interests focus on young women with breast cancer, survivorship, exercise oncology, and the use of social media in oncology. She is the host of the INTERLUDE Podcast, where she shares the stories of those who have been affected by cancer. Her book, Beyond the Pink, a patient-centered guide to the mental and physical challenges experienced by breast cancer previvors, survivors, and thrivers, will be published in 2026.
