Assistant Professor and Chief of the Surgical Oncology Breast Service, Department of Surgery, Medical College of Wisconsin

Chandler S. Cortina MD, MS, FSSO, FACS, is Assistant Professor and Chief of the Surgical Oncology Breast Service at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin. A Louisiana native, he completed his residency at Rush University Medical Center and Cook County Hospital, followed by a fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology at Northwestern University.

Julian A. Sanchez

Julian A. Sanchez MD, FACS

Senior Member, Moffitt Cancer Center

Julian Sanchez MD, is a colorectal surgeon and the section chief of colorectal oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. He is an associate professor of surgery and oncology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Dr. Sanchez specializes in surgical care and prevention of colorectal and anal cancers, and he oversees the anal dysplasia program and the LGBTQ+ cancer program. His research focuses on health disparities and cancer screening programs among sexual and gender minority and Latinx patients, for which he has received several funded research grants.

Founder, Cassandra Falby Psychotherapy

Cassandra Falby MS, LMFT, owns a psychotherapy practice in the San Francisco Bay Area. They provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Cassandra's relational approach is particularly beneficial for BIPOC-identified individuals, LGBTQIA+ folks, children of immigrants, neurodivergent individuals, and those living with chronic illness. Their clinical interests include intergenerational trauma and healing, values-based therapeutic interventions, and the impact of disability and chronic illness on self-concept.

Patient advocate

Victoria is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and breast cancer survivor; as she combines her two pathways, she finds purpose in sharing her story.

She is passionate about speaking on topics pertaining to financial toxicity and healthcare disparities amongst Black women in the cancer community; also providing a voice to those that may feel voiceless.
